Coach Ken Parker
December 3, 1958 - March 26, 2008
On March 26th Coach Ken Parker lost his battle with cancer.

We will remember Coach Parker for his love and dedication to the game and his players.

Coach Parker's winning attitude was truly infectious. It was always an honor and privilege to be a member of his team.

June 10, 2007 - Sunday

It came to the bottom of the last inning with us leading, five to four, the bases loaded, girls hoping to bring victory to their team; kids with determined looks on their tired, sweat covered faces; parents with tears of joy or sorrow just under the surface, looked on with admiration at their young; coaches running around like headless chickens, probably more excited than the girls; the batter is taking several deep breaths as she prepares for the onslaught of numerous pitches at some fifty miles per hour; the catcher lowers down to the position her knees have grown so accustomed to, bracing herself for steal attempts, or an unwanted pitch; the pitcher swinging her arm lower than her heart trying to retrieve some of the vital blood she desperately needs in her arm for maximum speed and accuracy; the pitch is a strike on the outside corner and the preparation starts all over again.
